Hana Eskra is Vice President, Real Estate Development at POAH, working on the acquisition and redevelopment of affordable multifamily properties, mostly in Florida. She is also working on POAH’s planned family development in Miami and the recapitalization of one of POAH’s recent acquisitions, Southpoint Crossing, a 122-unit family rental housing community in Florida City.
Hana has more than 25 years of experience in affordable housing consultation, financial feasibility, and project management services, as well as housing policy analysis and implementation.
She has been responsible for over $500 million of affordable housing development, including new construction and preservation projects. In her previous positions, she has identified, acquired, financed, and developed LIHTC properties. In addition, she served as Acting Director of Miami‐Dade County’s Office of Community and Economic Development. In that capacity, she managed 120 employees and oversaw a $400 million operating and capital budget that incorporated federal, state and local funding for affordable housing.
Hana holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
