Sharithea Cherry

Sharithea Cherry has worked in the property management industry for over 14 years, where she first began collaborating with Dr. Finney and Chicago’s Woodlawn Community Development Corporation, providing social services and assistance with special housing projects. Sharithea comes to POAH Communities with an extensive background in HUD Multi-family housing, Tax Credit, Public Housing, and Section 202 / 202-PRAC. Sharithea’s experience has also afforded her an opportunity to work in the market sector, where she provided supervision and oversight to a portfolio of townhome and condo/ associations. Before joining POAH Communities, Sharithea was Property Supervisor with Eastlake Management. Sharithea is very driven and enthusiastic about affordable housing and contributes her success in the property management industry to her cheerful outlook and her ability to remain focused. Sharithea’s portfolio is in the South and North side of Chicago as well as the South and North Suburbs in Illinois.
