Henry Richardson

Construction Project Manager, Chicago

Henry Richardson is a construction project manager in POAH’s Chicago office. He serves as day-to-day contact with third party architects, construction managers, general contractors, partners, project accountants, design and technical staff, owner's project managers, and other internal staff to manage the project from inception through completion. 

Henry helps provide pre-acquisition/pre-development advisory and due diligence services on construction related items and assists in the hiring of architects, consultants, engineers, and contractors. Working with the development project manager, he assists in plan review to ensure conformance to POAH’s standards and project goals and manages project schedules incorporating design, investigation, bidding, agency approvals, construction, and lease up tasks. 

Prior to joining POAH, Henry was Director of Construction at WICC Development in Chicago where he managed residential and mixed-use construction projects from feasibility through occupancy and assisted with site feasibility assessments for prospective project sites. He was Project Manager for ARCO/Murray Design Build where he managed the full lifecycle of controlled environment agriculture construction projects. Prior to that he was Assistant Project Manager for John Moriarty and Associates in Washington, D.C. where he coordinated with architects, interior designers, engineers, clients, and subcontractors to launch and advance the construction of large scale mixed use developments in Northeast Washington, DC.

He holds a Sc.B. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Brown University in Providence, RI.
