Gregory Katz is POAH's Vice President Deputy General Counsel, working closely with POAH’s acquisitions and development teams in negotiating, structuring and executing a wide range of transactions. Gregory is responsible for addressing the variety of legal issues that arise in connection with POAH’s role as a landlord and manager of thousands of affordable housing units, and he provides strategic and legal advice to POAH staff members across the organization.
Prior to joining POAH, Gregory was an associate at Ropes & Gray LLP, where his practice focused on real estate investment, development, and financing, as well as environmental and land use/zoning matters. Gregory attended the University of Pennsylvania Law School, where he focused on real estate and environmental law, and earned a Certificate in Business and Public Policy at the nearby Wharton School. He received his B.A. from Oberlin College.
