Apartment project across from Detroit Medical Center gets state financing
An apartment development across from the Detroit Medical Center campus has received a state loan of $4 million.
The loan, which was approved Tuesday morning, is part of a layered financing structure for a $36.6 million development by a joint venture between nonprofit developer Develop Detroit and Preservation of Affordable Housing Inc. at the northwest corner of John R and Garfield in the Sugar Hill district of Midtown.
