Preservation of Affordable Housing Inc. completed a six-building renovation project this month that included $13 million in upgrades for the Jesse L. Jackson Jr. Senior Housing in Harvey.
The two Jackson buildings — located at 166 and 174 W. 151st St. — comprise a 120-unit complex occupied by more than 100 residents.
Upgrades included modernizing apartments, replacing building systems and common spaces, and creating a 1,300-square-foot outdoor pavilion that provides a communal gathering space that connects the Jackson East and West buildings.
