POWER provides a range of personalized financial services that target basic elements of financial health: income, assets, credit and debt.
INDIVIDUALIZED FINANCIAL COACHING:
All POAH residents have access to professional, personalized financial coaching to identify and achieve their own individual plans and goals. Coaching can help residents set a budget, pay off a credit card, manage student loans, consolidate debt, raise their credit score and more.
RENT REPORTING FOR CREDIT BUILDING:
POAH provides on-time rent reporting to the three-credit bureau so that residents can build their credit by just by paying their rent on time each month.
FAMILY SELF-SUFFICIENCY (FSS) PROGRAM:
FSS is an asset building program that supports residents to reach their goals. Families with low incomes save on average, more than $9,500 in less than five years. Learn More
COMING SOON - DOWNPAYMENT ASSISTANCE:
POAH recently launched a new downpayment assistance fund, supporting participants of its financial coaching programs to become homeowners by avoiding the financial leverage of taking on a larger loan, or by helping them access more purchasing power.
GROW RESOURCE CENTERS:
Resource Centers pair stable housing with integrated financial, employment and income support coaching and industry-specific employment training to help residents increase their net worth. Centers support children through out-of-school time programming and school-community partnerships and support all residents through community building events, civic engagement and resident leadership.
