Deanna Stark is responsible for POAH Communities’ brand identity, marketing, event management and employee engagement. She works closely with leadership and property management staff to ensure communication and materials are cohesively branded and accurately reflect the organization’s mission and goals. She develops and executes strategic marketing and leasing plans for each region in the portfolio. Deanna joined POAH Communities in 2014 and has served as the Office Manager for the Kansas City central office and as Branding & Communications Coordinator. Before her career in affordable housing, Deanna owned a marketing and apparel company working with schools, non-profit organizations and local restaurant groups. A long-time freelance artist, she spent 5 years as an on-call Creative Specialist for Hallmark Cards. Deanna earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Communications from the University of Colorado-Boulder.
