Joshua Durando

Joshua Durando is POAH’s Senior Manager, People and Culture where he develops, implements, coordinates and tracks programs and policies focused on workforce and organizational development. He is responsible for training and development, including creating a training curriculum for supervisors and all staff cohorts and other trainings as needed. Joshua oversees recruitment of new employees, including support to hiring managers for job postings, outreach and recruitment strategies and reviewing applications to ensure that qualified applicants are presented to hiring managers for review.

Prior to joining POAH, Joshua served as the Director of Volunteer & Alumni Relations for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Boston where he managed volunteer, alumni, and scholarship operations for all 11 BGCB sites. 

Joshua holds a ​Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Temple University in Philadelphia and a ​Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia.
