Completed during winter 2025, the 3-story Cape View Way development is a partnership between POAH and Housing Assistance. Cape View Way consists of 42 units of affordable housing with a mix of nine one-bedroom, 28 two-bedroom, and five three-bedroom apartments. Three apartments are fully handicapped-accessible, and a fourth is accessible to sensory-impaired residents. 

Meridian Point at Goulds Station is a new-construction, affordable housing development located in the Goulds area of southern Miami-Dade County. When completed, it will feature 113 units for families with incomes ranging from 30% to 80% of Area Median Income (AMI). Sixty-eight of these units will be reserved for families currently residing at the nearby Cutler Manor Apartments which is slated to be re-developed into a mixed-income, affordable community.

The Kenzi at Bartlett Station contains 50 units of supportive, affordable housing for older adults and is part of the five-phase redevelopment of the former bus yard now owned by Nuestra Comunidad and Windale Developers. The Kenzi serves individuals age 55 or older who have either low or middle-income housing needs in 41 affordable one-bedroom apartments and 3 affordable two-bedroom apartments.

Preservation of Affordable Housing, Inc. (POAH)  partnered with the City of Detroit and nonprofit Develop Detroit to build a new mixed-use, mixed-income project redevelopment in the historic Sugar Hill Arts District in Midtown Detroit.

The $37 million project transformed a one acre of vacant space into 68 new mixed-income apartments and 11,000 square feet into of commercial space. Of the new units, 25% are designated as affordable housing for residents making up to 80 percent of the area median income, including 14 units for veterans.

Fifth City Commons is a new-construction affordable housing development in the East Garfield Park neighborhood on Chicago’s West Side that will include 43 apartments built to Passive House standards.

Canal Bluffs was the first phase of a multi-phased residential community containing 28 units affordable to residents who earn 60% of the median area income.   Located within 1 mile of the Bourne Bridge, the property has easy access to commercial areas, shopping, employment centers and transportation.

Opened in 2024, The Asberry, located at 1200 Sumner Road SE, is a mixed-use building with 108 affordable rental apartments with a preference for those aged 55+, thoughtful amenities and over 5,000 square feet of retail space. With a landscape courtyard, a wellness room, a fitness center, a community room and a rooftop amenity space, The Asberry is a hub for engagement and community. This is the first on-site building for the Barry Farm Redevelopment Project.

LeClair Village is a family community made up of 39 affordable homes across three buildings on Town-owned land in Mashpee on Cape Cod. The development features14 one-bedroom apartments, 21 two-bedroom units, and 4 three-bedroom apartments. Eight homes will have rents subsidized through Project-Based Vouchers. This development represents an 11% increase in the town’s affordable housing stock – a significant boost in a high-cost market where many seasonal employees and others struggle to find stable housing that they can afford.

Brewster Woods on Cape Cod created 30 affordable rental apartments in this popular vacation area with typically high housing costs. The development serves low- and moderate-income households and includes 8 one-bedroom,19 two -bedroom, and 3 three-bedroom units and has a rooftop solar array that offsets the cost of electricity.

Terrapin Ridge Apartments is an affordable housing community located in Sandwich, MA on Cape Cod.  This community is made up of 30 townhouse-style homes, consisting of 1-, 2-, and 3-bedroom units. The 8 buildings that make up the site surround a central common, providing accessible outdoor green space to residents, along with each unit featuring a patio or balcony. The 6-acre site was originally owned by the Sandwich Housing Authority.
